KITCHEN SINK POCKET ORCHESTRA
Founded in 2021, Kitchen Sink Pocket Orchestra is a fresh and exciting mixed string and wind ensemble designed to introduce orchestral instruments in accessible and non-traditional settings. During the summer of 2022, they are embarking on a tour of the B.C. Interior.

This short documentary tells the story of an exceptional symphony conductor recently diagnosed with ADHD who uses the career shutdown of the 2020 pandemic to explore her mental health and finds new ways to navigate the challenges and marvel at the surprising gifts of the condition.

The West Coast Amateur Musicians Society is a nonprofit organization of amateur musicians based in British Columbia, Canada. Each July, WCAMS offers a week-long residential camp led by top professional musicians.

The Allegra Chamber Orchestra is proud to present FestivELLE, a three day virtual celebration of female-identifying and emerging composers from across Canada. One of the only all-female orchestras in the world, over its five year history Allegra has commissioned, featured, and championed the works of dozens of female and minority composers, with a mandate to equalize and diversify our concert stages while enacting social change through music.

Isolation Commission
To support front line artists in this unprecedented time, and to foster reflections on that time from our musical community, Little Chamber Music has created the Isolation Commissions.
For $200, donors got to choose an artist to film a 4min video of themselves performing at home, something that reflects the impact our extraordinary social situation is having on their artistic practice. It might be an improvisation, a favourite piece, a work that brings comfort, a work in progress….that was up to the artist.
